Purity brutally slain

Fatima we share your pain

With Husayn we surely keep

In front of enemies depraved

Divine proximity he craved

His father’s wish he must complete

Now he sits with the elite

A painful thirst Abbas observes

His final charge with loving verve

His master a brother does serve

The enemies showed no mercy

They ignored young Asghar's plea

Left the baby so thirsty

Husayn stands in Karbala

Gazing towards Madina

Salaam on you oh my mother

Oh I ask you Zuljana

On the sands of Karbala

How did you face Ruquayya?
